Datazoom provides an easy way to initiate and manage data collection. Data Pipes are used to specify which data to collect and which destinations to send the data. The steps below illustrate the simple process to create a Data Pipe by adding Collectors and Connectors.
Name the Data Pipe
In this example, we have named the Data Pipe
Select a Collector
+icon to bring up a list of your configured Collectors. Click on the one that you wish to add to this Data Pipe.
In the drop-down menu select ALL EVENTS if you'd like capture all data points supported by this Collector or choose SELECT SPECIFIC DATA POINTS to pick and choose exactly what data you want to collect in this Pipe. Click
Select a Connector
+icon to bring up a list of your configured Connectors. Select the one that you wish to add to this Data Pipe.
SAVE CHANGESto save your new Data Pipe. In this case, we have set-up a Data Pipe that will capture the selected events from JW Player and pass them to Keen.io. You can continue adding Collectors and Connectors that share the same event collection properties to create a multi-dimensional data collection pipeline.
